"Volcanic Tides" - Milky Way and Kilauea Lava Flows in Kalapana

from $295.00

The thumbnail image from my Volcanic Tides film featuring 2 years of lava flows during Kilauea’s final chapter in a 35 year long eruption from Pu’uO’o vent, this image features the Milky Way shining behind lava flows destroying a kipuka (island of trees surrounded by lava). This kipuka was right at the edge of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park so we referred to it as the “boundary kipuka”.
