The 2024 total solar eclipse that crossed through the US was one I couldn’t miss. It was a challenging journey with how many populated cities the shadow crossed through. I stayed in Austin, TX for 10 days with gloomy forecasts and drove out to Llano County for the big event. It was cloudy but we lucked out with a nicely timed window in the clouds. As the C3 moment occurred, the light clouds created this magical prism effect.
