The PORTALS are back…

Portals of Creation is a experimental short film series extending the world of our ReflectionVOID films, featuring surreal landscapes and night skies reflected with floating mirror portals. This series will also explore inspirations from great filmmakers and legendary films throughout the history of cinema. Each installment will be its own self-contained creative portal that layers different themes together into a short and sweet cinematic experience.

Part I: MONOLITH is an homage to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey and is inspired by our own psychedelic adventure along a very special Hawaiian coastline under a full supermoon. The rocks were literally breathing below our feet as the bright moon illuminated the rhythmic ocean patterns. Our journey on this night through the landscape was transformative in many ways, it was our own monolith to a new thread of creative ideas and projects. So we decided to come back during the following two full moon phases (which were both supermoons as well) and recreate our inspired journey cinematically to begin this new series.
